Looking at flavors for Fall beverages
Fall is a time for warm beverages of all kinds, whether coffee, tea, or even fruit.
In addition to the usual flavors availale to us, there are seasonal-specific flavors to choose from, for example:
Fall Blend, by Starbucks.
A warm spice flavor is derived from combining the spice from Sumatran beans, nuttiness of beans from Peru, and citrus flavor from Kenya.
A limited time seasonal selection, this a medium roast and caffeinated coffee.
Pumpkin Spice, by Green Mountain Coffee.
Nutmeg and cinnamon combined with pumpkin flavors hit the spot on those cool Fall nights and chilly mornings.
A limited time seasonal selection, this a light roast and caffeinated coffee.
Hot Apple Cider, by Green Mountain.
Yep–not coffee, not tea, it’s real apple cider, made with real apples, with broun sugar and cinnamon!!!
This one brings back fond memories of when I was stationed at Langley AFB, Virginia, and my wife Pam and I would visit Coloinial Williamsburg. We wandered the shops, and in the fall we would stop at one of the street-side vendors and have a big sugar cookie and Hot Apple Cider–perfect!!!
Cinnamon Apple Spice Herbal Tea, by Celestial Seasonings.
Oh, yeah, gotta throw a tea in here. This one is an herbal tea, with a blend of apple and cinnamon, with a bit of butterscotch and chocolate.
And, it’s caffeine free. Just the thing for those cool fall evenings, watching the sun go down.
Whether you prefer coffee, tea, or a spiced fruit beverage, or all at different times of the day, you have choices. And remember, there are different sized offers available. I hope I have given you “food for thought” (or “drink”?) for interesting choices for Fall beverages.
